Junior Beta Information and Guidelines
The National Beta Club promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students in grades 5-12.
Achievement- Recognizing and honoring high academic achievement
Character- Preparing young people for life and empowering them to be successful
Leadership- Developing the leaders of tomorrow
Service- Demonstrating our motto: Let Us Lead by Serving Others
New member inductions are held in September each year. Students considered for nomination must have a minimum of a 2.75 GPA. Student candidates are then screened for induction based on their extracurricular activities, leadership qualities, responsible characteristics, and other character qualities. Students who meet qualifying criteria may be inducted in 4th, 5th or 6th grade.

- Held once a month after school from 3:00-4:30

- Held in Lafayette, LA
- Elementary (4th/5th) February 6-7
- Junior (6th) February 7-10
National Convention 2023:
- Held in Louisville, Kentucky
- Elementary (4th/5th) June 21-23
- Junior (6th) June 23-26
