Message from Mrs. Richard:

I am Misty Richard and this will be my sixteenth year as an educator in Terrebonne Parish.  I spent my first five years teaching 4th grade at Grand Caillou Middle School.  After leaving Grand Caillou, I made Lisa Park my home.  Over the past eleven years, I have taught 2nd grade for one year,  Kindergarten for five years, and served as the Instructional Coach of Lisa Park for four years.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in May of 2003 and my Masters of Educational Leadership in May of 2007 from Nicholls State University.  I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in Early Childhood Education.

I am very excited about this opportunity to serve as the principal of Lisa Park Elementary.  I plan to work hard in helping Lisa Park move forward in achieving our goal of becoming an A school. I look forward to the many adventures we will have together this year as we strive for excellence in academics, behavior, and character.

Message from Mrs. Cavalier:

I am excited to serve as Lisa Park's Instructional Coach this school year. I have been at Lisa Park since 2013. I previously taught in fourth and sixth grades as an inclusion teacher. My background is in special education. I earned a Bachelor's degree in sociology in 2005 from Nicholls State University with the plan to become a social worker. I decided to pursue a different path and began teaching special education in 2009 while working toward earning my certification to teach from Nicholls State University. I taught special education at a few different schools over the years, including Patterson Junior High School, Southdown Elementary School, and Houma Junior High School, before settling in at Lisa Park. In May 2018, I earned a Master's degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education. I look forward to being a part of the leadership team at Lisa Park. My ultimate responsibility will be to help our teachers learn and grow, so they are able to help our students reach their fullest potential.
